Welcome to the Farm & Food Care Foundation, established as a charitable organization in 2011. The Foundation develops and supports programs to communicate with Canadians helping to build confidence and trust in Canadian Food and Farming.
Today
Less than two percent of Canadians live on farms and that has led to a huge disconnect between the farm and our dinner plates.
The Foundation works to:
- cultivate a passion for food and farming in Canada – connecting the farm gate to the consumer plate.
- communicate the facts about farming and food production.
- collaborate with funders from all sectors of the food industry
Getting the story out is the first step!
Having more informed conversations about our food system will do the rest.
